Congratulations to the children who received certificates just before Easter.

Well done to all the children who entered the Easter egg decorating competition. It was great to see so many creative ideas.

This week we have had great fun melting chocolate to make our Easter nests. We warmed the chocolate in the microwave and watched how it changed before adding the other ingredients. We then filled our nests with a chick and egg to celebrate the new life at Easter.

Today Horris visited us to talk about how to keep out teeth clean and healthy.

We learned about cleaning our teeth twice a day in the morning and before we go to bed.

Remember to brush them for two minutes and ask an adult to help.

We talked about eating health foods like fruit and vegetable. Saving a small sweet treat for after out tea.

It is also important to drink healthy drinks like milk and water and not fizzy or sugary drinks.

Today we had a visit from the doctor. We have been talking about when we visit the doctor and the things a doctor checks. We looked a the thermometer, blood pressure machine and stethoscope. We really enjoyed listening to our friends heart beating.

Today we have been learning about the spring celebration of Holi where they throw coloured paint at each other as part of their celebration. We have been investigating how colours change when we mix them inside and outside at Nursery.
