The tiger who came to tea

This week we were learning to retell the tiger who came to tea story.

Use these words and your story maps at home to retell the story.

One day there was a little girl call Sophie and her mum.

Suddenly there was knocking at the door. It was a big stripy tiger

First the tiger ate all the sandwiches  but he was still hungry.

Next  the tiger ate all the biscuits  but now he still hungry

Then the tiger ate all the cakes but he was thirsty

After the tiger drank all the tea in the teapot but was still thirsty.

Next the tiger drank all the water in the tap

Finally the tiger said thank you and he went home.

Later Dad came home but there was no food.

So they went to the cafe

The next day mum and Sophie went shopping for tiger food.

But the tiger never came back.

A terrific time at Tesco

Today we had a very wet walk to Tesco. We enjoyed seeing the Christmas decorations and bought some chocolate coins, Christmas cards, and Pizza. We paid at the self checkout. Our favourite part was eating the Pizza when we arrived back at Nursery.

A big thank you to all the parents who came with us. I hope you have dried out!

Fabulous shops on the Foleshill road.

Today we had a great time walking down the Foleshill road. The children enjoyed talking about the shops they visit and what they would like to buy. We went in the mini mart, butchers, dress shop, post office and the pharmacy. Thank you to all the parents who joined and make it such a successful trip
