This week we are continuing with the theme minibeasts, but today we are focusing on the life cycle of a butterfly.
We are going to create our own butterfly life cycle.
You can use different kinds of resources to make your life cycle, choose one that you feel is best .
You can draw it.
You can use pasta to create the different stages of the life cycle.
Or you can use anything you have in your home that looks like part of the stages of the life cycle.
Once you have made your butterfly life cycle, can talk about what happens?
- What happens first?
- What happens next?
- What happens then?
- What happens at the end?
- Where did the butterfly come from?
- Where was the egg?
- What did the caterpillar do?
